Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle 2LP/Coloured
Topseller

zzgl. 1,49 € Versand

In a brand new Jumanji adventure, four high school kids discover an old video game console and are drawn into the game's jungle setting, literally becoming the adult avatars they chose. What they discover is that you don't just play Jumanji - you must survive it. To beat the game and return to the real world, they'll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and change the way they think about themselves - or they'll be stuck in the game forever, to be played by others without break. The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas, and Bobby Cannavale and received critical acclaim upon its release. Classically trained from an early age, Henry Jackman is a revolutionary film composer, ingeniously marrying his knowledge of classical music with his interest and experience in club music and his innovative production of Electronica. For each film he scores, Henry combines a unique range of skills, which include classical composition, orchestral arrangement, beat programming, sound design, production, and mixing. Jackman's recent film scores show an immense versatility, paralleled by few other composers. He is able to easily span across a wide range of genres, from action films to period dramas to family films, including Captain Phillips, X-Men: First Class, Puss In Boots, Kick-Ass, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, Monsters and Aliens, The Fifth Wave and others. The vinyl package of Jumanji Welcome To The Jungle contains an exclusive film-poster, and the 180-gram records are housed in 2 exclusive printed innersleeves. Available limited edition of 250 numbered copies on “Wild Rhino” (silver & black marbled) coloured vinyl. Track Listing – SIDE A 1. THE JUMANJI OVERTURE 2. DIGGING UP THE PAST 3. BRANTFORD HIGH 4. The Truth Society (eBook, PDF)

Noelle Molé Liston's The Truth Society seeks to understand how a period of Italian political spectacle, which regularly blurred fact and fiction, has shaped how people understand truth, mass-mediated information, scientific knowledge, and forms of governance. Liston scrutinizes Italy's late twentieth-century political culture, particularly the impact of the former prime minister and media mogul Silvio Berlusconi. By doing so, she examines how this truth-bending political era made science, logic, and rationality into ideas that needed saving. With the prevalence of fake news and our seeming lack of shared reality in the "post-truth" world, many people struggle to figure out where this new normal came from. Liston argues that seemingly disparate events and practices that have unfolded in Italy are historical reactions to mediatized political forms and particular, cultivated ways of knowing. Politics, then, is always sutured to how knowledge is structured, circulated, and processed. The Truth Society offers Italy as a case study for understanding the remaking of politics in an era of disinformation.
